Kicking Off 2025: Our First Cowork of the Year

After wrapping up the holiday festivities and easing back into work, what better way to officially kick off 2025 than with our first co-working day? As a remote studio, these in-person meetups are something we truly look forward to—not just for the productivity boost but for the chance to reconnect, brainstorm, and, of course, share a few laughs along the way.

This time, we gathered at Ascott Makati, right in the heart of the bustling city, to reconnect, collaborate, and align on our projects.

Our Product Director, Esther, flew in from Australia to join us in person.

The Product Managers discussed project highlights and upcoming plans, making sure everyone was aligned on what’s next.

From updates to exciting new features in the pipeline, the session gave the team a clearer picture of what to expect and where we’re headed.

Nothing beats seeing our projects come to life in real time! Our internal playtesting sessions were in full swing, with teams providing feedback and refining mechanics.

But the real game-changer? Guest Playtesting. This was the first time we brought in external testers to try out our games, and their fresh, unfiltered insights helped us see things from a new perspective.

Later in the day, the team collaborated on pitching a new theme for an upcoming game, exchanging ideas and refining concepts to shape our next project. It’s always exciting to see how different minds come together to shape the next big thing!

Of course, no co-working day is complete without the moments in between—casual catch-ups, and exchanging laughs. These gatherings remind us that while we may work remotely, we’re still a team that thrives on collaboration and camaraderie.

As the day wrapped up, we got valuable insights, had meaningful discussions, and left with a renewed sense of excitement for the months ahead.
Here’s to more co-work days, big ideas, and, most importantly, more great games in 2025!
