Last week, forty-nine of us packed our bags, ditched our desks, and headed down to Club Punta Fuego in Batangas for three days of sun, celebration, and a whole lot of looking forward. We even had our leadership team fly all the way in from Australia, which made the whole reunion feel that much more special.
While we were technically there to celebrate our anniversary, the energy quickly turned into a deep dive into the future of gaming. We spent a lot of time reflecting on how far we’ve come, but honestly, the most exciting conversations were about where we’re going next, especially when it comes to the massive wave of AI tech hitting the industry right now

Instead of the usual dry corporate updates, our leadership team kicked things off with some incredibly inspiring talks. They didn’t just talk to us; they shared real, practical insights on how AI tools are already changing the way we work.
The biggest takeaway was that AI isn’t a threat, but rather a massive unlock for our creativity. Hearing how these tools can handle the heavy lifting, streamline our workflows, and ultimately let us focus on building weirder, cooler, and more immersive worlds for our players got everyone hyped.

Fast, Messy and Brilliant
We didn’t just sit around talking about theory, though. Pretty quickly, we split up into small, mixed-discipline teams and jumped straight into a chaotic, fast-paced workshop. The challenge was simple but intense: collaborate under a tight deadline to brainstorm, prototype, and pitch a brand-new game idea and ad concept using AI.
The room was absolute chaos in the best way possible. People from different departments who don’t always get to work day-to-day were huddled over laptops, throwing out wild ideas, discarding the bad ones, and building prototypes from scratch. By the time the pitches started, the room was electric. Every single team showed up with something clever, and you could just feel the collective pride in what we managed to pull off in just a few hours.

Let’s be real: tech is moving incredibly fast right now, and it can feel a little daunting. But watching our team cook last week made one thing crystal clear.
