As part of Altitude Games’ continued commitment to nurturing and developing future talent, we had the privilege of meeting with key members of De La Salle University’s Software Technology – Interactive Entertainment program.
The discussion took place on August 12, 2025, at Ascott Makati, and was joined by esteemed faculty members: Dr. Neil Patrick Del Gallego (Department Chair), Dr. Rafael Cabredo (Program Coordinator), and Lecturers Juan Edgardo Tanyag and Michael Carranceja.
The focus of our discussion was clear: how Altitude can support students in honing their skills and preparing for real-world opportunities through our student internship program. During the session, selected students presented their games which we got to play ourselves.
We were impressed by the ingenuity and creativity of the students. They are fueled by passion, intention, and willingness to learn and thrive as they carve their own path. It was inspiring to see the younger generation purposely choosing to be part of the gaming industry.
Looking ahead, Altitude is excited to offer meaningful opportunities for students to grow in areas like game design, coding, and digital media, equipping them with hands-on experience and critical thinking skills that will shape their future in the industry.
